USA: Architecture and interior design traineship in NYC

You love New York City, have a passion for architecture and interior design, and qualify yourself as self-motivated, detail-oriented, and as an organized designer with experience in high-end hospitality design? Then this internship is for you! This role offers an opportunity to work closely with principals and a collaborative team on sophisticated, high-profile designs.

Aufgaben

• Manage hospitality projects and communicate well across project teams and consultants throughout the design and execution process.
• Prepare polished client presentations that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Source and specify interior finishes, create room layouts, and design custom furniture.
• Develop precise construction drawings for interior architecture and high-end millwork details.
• Review shop drawings and submittals in coordination with the project manager.
• Oversee the construction process through construction administration and site coordination.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members, working both in the office and on-site. 

Qualifikationen / Voraussetzungen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in an architectural or interior design office
• Strong work ethic, highly organized, and able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in all project phases, from schematic design through construction administration
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in REVIT is required
• Experience with Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
