Individuals with specific knowledge in the field of biology can support the organization by investigating and documenting different species of flora and fauna. This will contribute to work to support the conservation of the biodiversity in the area.
We will work on monitoring physical and biological variables and on the preservation of threatened species and protecting their ecosystems. The project will involve geographically locating different ecosystems and working on the accessibility, research and conservation of the area.
Interns will be trekking for approximately 1 hour within the jungle to reach the working field from our village and another hour to get back. There is also the option for volunteers/interns to stay at the working field. Volunteers/interns can decide where they would like to stay after a couple of days of working. Camera traps will be utilized to capture the variety of wildlife.
Aufgaben
- Investigate and document local flora and fauna
- Write reports
- Monitor physical and biological variables and the preservation of threatened species
- Locate different ecosystems and work on the accessibility, research and conservation of the area
- Document all kinds of possible biodiversity through photos and videos to develop different types of teaching materials to share with the community and different Peruvian and international schools

- +18
- Individuals with specific knowledge in the field of Biology (Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental, Zoology and Botany)
- Basic experience or strong motivation to work as part of a team away from home
- Open mind, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
