An Eco-Hostel in Barcelona´s city centre is looking for a new intern to join their team. Conscious interior design, social responsibility and sustainability are the three benchmarks that define this lively and cozy hostel in a traditional building from 1862.
Aufgaben
- Front desk: checking clients in and out, booking management, requests and complaint management, reservations
- Back office and administration: bookkeeping, processing invoices, orders and payments
- Marketing and social media: replying to online reviews, creating content for the different platforms, monitoring social media channels
- Customer service: providing tourist information, answering questions and coming up with solutions to problems
The allocated tasks depend mainly on the intern´s motivation and qualifications, so might get more or less in accordance to your performance.
Qualifikationen / Voraussetzungen
- Training as Office Management Assistant (Bürokauffrau/-mann)
- Foreign language Secretary (Fremdsprachkorrespondent/in) or similar
- Spanish B1 or higher, other languages highly desired
- Ability to use and manage social media and content creation tools (Canva)
- Good communication skills (listening, speaking, observing and empathizing)
- Ability to engage and interact with customers
- Good organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking and planning
- Motivation, willingness to learn, and independence
