Do you enjoy meeting people from all over the world and working in a lively, international environment? During this internship, you will become part of a dynamic bike rental and tour shop in Amsterdam, where every day brings new guests, cultures, and stories.
You will work alongside a young and multicultural team and help create a welcoming atmosphere for travelers who are ready to explore the city by bike. This internship offers a hands-on introduction to the tourism and customer service sector, allowing you to develop communication skills, gain practical experience, and learn the ins and outs of how a tourist business operates. No two days are the same, making this internship both varied and engaging.
Aufgaben
Tasks will largely depend on your skills and interests, but at the base level you can expect:
- Supporting the reception of national and international customers
- Assisting with bike rentals and returns under supervision
- Providing basic information about services and the city of Amsterdam
- Helping to maintain an orderly and welcoming shop environment
- Learning basic procedures related to bike handling and shop operation
Qualifikationen / Voraussetzungen
- 16+
- Interest in cycling and Amsterdam
- Proficient in English (at least B2)
- Enrolled in a study program related to tourism, hospitality, business, languages, or a comparable field
- Interest in customer service and the tourism sector
- Friendly, open, and service-oriented attitude
