Finnland: Internship in an English-speaking kindergarten

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to gain hands-on experience abroad? This internship offers you the chance to work in an English-speaking kindergarten in Finland, where you\'ll support the daily activities of a dedicated teaching team. From creative play and outdoor exploration to assisting with classroom routines, you\'ll be fully immersed in a child-centered learning environment. Aufgaben

• Supporting teachers in the daily supervision of children
• Assisting with the preparation and delivery of activities (e.g. arts & crafts, music, storytelling, role play)
• Helping to organize and guide outdoor play and excursions
• Encouraging the use of English in everyday communication
• Supporting routines such as mealtimes, dressing, and hygiene
• Participating in circle time and group games
• Helping to set up and tidy learning areas and materials
• Observing and documenting children’s development (if appropriate for your level of experience)
• Assisting with special events or theme days
• Bringing in your own ideas for small projects or activities (e.g. introducing a song or game from your home country)

Qualifikationen / Voraussetzungen

• +16
• Currently studying or recently completed a degree or vocational training in early childhood education, primary education, social work, or a related field
• Previous experience with children (e.g. through internships, babysitting, volunteering, or youth work) is a plus
• Good English skills (spoken and written); Finnish is not required
• Interest in child-centered education and working in a multicultural environment
• Reliable, patient, and open-minded personality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Creativity and willingness to contribute own ideas
• Basic knowledge of child development is an advantage
• A clear criminal background check (Führungszeugnis)
