Reykjavik (Iceland): fashion design internship (unpaid)
How would you like to up your game by doing an internship at one of the most successful Icelandic designer studios?
Where: Reykjavik, Iceland
When: Start anytime, 2-3 months, extension possible depending on skillset
Tasks:
- Prepare specifications for production, including finishing, pattern and trim specifications
- Adjust and update size grading specifications
- Drape concept garments
- Make prototype and pattern samples for manufacturing
- Do alterations on display pieces
- Make hand-embroidered accessories
- Assist on events and photoshoots
Tasks may vary depending on skillset and performance.
Qualification:
- Bespoke tailor training (Maßschneider*in)
- Fashion Designer (Studium, Ausbildung, Master)
Other requirements:
- Intermediate (B1) to advanced (C1) language skills
- Good tailoring skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Motivation, willingness to learn, and independence
Sponsorship: as as a trainee or graduate, you will usually receive the Erasmus+-Sponsorship (travel and residence allowance for internships abroad)
